  • Specs look pretty good I suppose, but a 7.9" phablet seems rather extreme. Do you hold it up to your ear? I'm going to need bigger pants…

    • treat it as a tablet.
      shame it's only 3G

Do you hold it up to your ear? I'm going to need bigger pants…

How big do your pants need to be in order to this phablet up to your ear?

Wow great find ! Specs are crazy good ! Perfect size !

EDIT: Only other seller is: PandaWill

    • I'm hating on Pandawill so bad right now. Ordered a phone over a month ago and they've been screwing around with me since then, giving me over 5 different tracking numbers. Finally movement on the package, coincidentally the same day I escalated my dispute to a claim…

They are considered a reputable reseller and definitely not scam, but just though I'd share my frustrations with them.

      • Never buying from Pandawill again. Bought something that was DOA. Shipped it back it to them. Screwed me around. Finally gave me a supposed working refurbish item. Item didn't work. $200 wasted with Pandawill. Ain't going back to them.

Crazy good price for specs, whats the catch?

Found an alternative, I am not sure if I should post it as a separate deal. Here is the link:

    http://www.pandawill.com/fnf-ifive-mini-3gs-tablet-pc-mtk659…

Though I have not used FNF brand, but I have heard it before.

    • Based on a different CPU mtk6592 vs MTK8392

MTK8392 is designed for tablets where as the MTK6592 is for phones.

      • I'm deciding which ones I should go for.
fnf ifive mini 3gs or Teclast p89 3gs?

        • At first I was going for Chuwi VX3, but review says it's mediocre.
          what do you think?

        • oh god, I just found another device Teclast P79HD 3G. Can't seem to make up my mind about which one to get.

    • Battery 4000 vs 5000mah

  • Fnf is a great brand. Got the non retina model last year and the only problem it had was a small software glitch in render videos on its 4:3 ratio.

  • Specs and form factor look really good, so tempting!

EDIT: actually this for the "mini", please ignore, or at most, take as an indication to manufacturing quality.

  • No 850mhz support

    • That together with no 4G might make it a dealbreaker for me, I'm weighing it up

      • I am wondering whether anyone will actually use it as a phone lol.

        • I use my current smartphone primarily for non-phone uses. I think I could make the switch and use a tablet for calls with a suitable bluetooth headset.

        • That's what I am going to do. Which one are you going for?

  • Mediatek dont do 4G yet, soon but not yet, i think they trying to get rid of old stock

    • That's why I am waiting for the new Rockchip 3288 tablets in the coming months

      • Is it worth the wait? I am using optus network(amaysim) and I don't even use much 3g.

  • These specs are really tempting. I just need a reasonably quick device that will run Firefox (or an equivalent of IE) that can access some information on Microsoft ISA server 2006 /its SQL server (well that is what they use at work). I tried doing it on a Samsung S4 and it worked but of course I won't pay for a S4 or S5 just for that. Tempting specs… anyone knows this brand or the reseller?

  • Did anyone buy one of these? I have a Kogan Agora that was stolen. Have been looking at this as a replacement. I like the specs but cannot find any reviews of this model anywhere. Still waiting on insurance money to come through so missed the deal, but still well priced for the specs. Wanting information about build quality, speaker quality and performance including battery life. Anyone??

    • I ended up purchasing P98 3g. It's the 9.7inch phablet. Still in transit. will let you know the build quality, once I receive it. Even with DHL delivery, it's taking 2weeks…
