It's back, and $14 more than in February, but then the HDMI cable IS 300mm longer, but lacking the 2Yr Warranty from last August.
You can't complain though for a HD STB + HDMI cable delivered for under $100.
BTW, do you still offer the extended 1 year warranty for
    an extra $7.70
    ?

  • Lower than we have been able to offer for quite some time due to a weak AUD vs USD dollar.
2 year warranty is live on the link from OzB members for extra $7.70

Not sure how reputable this HAILO is but Dick Smith is selling DGTec HD STB for $99.
I am not sure if this deal is a real bargain.

unless Hailo is really a top brand among all others, I would at least try one of DGTec's.
At least, you can try any model at DSE and get a refund within 14 days if you change your mind. Nothing to lose.

Hailo isn't a top brand but it's the best of the lesser known brands. Pretty sure if you slapped a Sony badge on it you'd be paying $200+. I've had mine for months and it works very well.

  • This may be a really stupid question, but which cable do I need/should I choose (1.3m HDMI v1.3, 1m HDMI to DVI or 1m Component cable)?

And should I get the extra 1 yr warranty?

I have a Conia tv (42") that I bought from COTD. I think it is a HD tv or a HD compatible tv…

  • Please check you TV to see if it supports HDMI. If supported this would be the first choice of cable as it supports full digital throughput of video and audio. Component and DVI only do the video so audio will need to be connected via composite RCA.
