  Anachronox is one of the best games, story wise, of all time.

  The ganeplay isn't great. The turn based fight system is downright bad. But the story and humor is well worth it.

      You'll love Anachronox. Especially if you like a bit of Pratchett/early Sierra/early Lucasarts style humour thrown in.

      I'm a fan of turn based games but the fight system for Anachronox is just too simple & easy and a couple of the essential mechanisms of it are pointless.

      In spite of that this is my favourite game of all time. Or possibly UFO: Enemy Unknown. Or maybe Day of the Tentacle. Or perhaps Mass Effect 1.
