This acc comes closest to making an ipad useable as a laptop. It's very good.

Great price. Finally beats the fabulous OzBargain Price War of 2012, where Flingshot and LogitechShop fought it out with each other to see who could provide the lowest price! ($35 was the final price).
Bought one back then, still going strong, I'd highly recommend taking up this offer if you don't have one already! Works perfectly, battery lasts months.

Unfortunately, one of their founders have passed away recently and that lead to them shutting the shop early this year :( Quite sad considering how involved they were with OzBargain community in the past.
Would these work on the iPad air?
The keyboard itself will work as it just uses blue tooth, but you can obviously not use it as a cover and attach it to the air due to the form factor difference.

I took the one that was in the display cabinet but when I called customer service they said Forest Hill was still showing more stock. If I had known that I would have grabbed another. Always ask because they may have more stock out the back.

It was scattered around Melbourne, but good supplies in the larger regional towns. Best to call customer service because they can call a store directly and place a hold on an item for you.
They aren't open till Monday (if open at all) says Monday - Friday till 6pm on website but doesn't say timezones

Nope. Melbourne and Brisbane, but they don't have access to Retail inventory. So you have to get them to call around for you.

It will work with an ipad mini (it connects via bluetooth and charges via micro USB), it just won't magnetically attach to the iPad Mini the way it was designed to (on the full sized 2,3,4).

I think the only difference pretty much is the size of the keyboard and maybe the driver you have to install to get all the special function buttons working.

Some post offices in the CBD will be open tomorrow for half a day. For example, Rundle Mall here in SA.

Great price for the keyboard, not the best covers unfortunately as they have a habit of slipping off sometimes. It's just a magnet after all. Results in a mad grab for the ipad as it all tumbles to the group, as often as not the very similar looking keyboard is grabbed instead. Smash.

Just tried my local. Said none left, though he did say they were in fact $9.99. Lots of other stuff sitting around with clearance signs on it, doesn't surprise me that if these were on a shelf with a "Clearance: $9.99" sticker/sign, they'd go in an absolute flash.

So far, I've called up 2 LPOs, visited two post shops, am waiting at office works while sales guy checks for stock (hah), and at all of these, I got asked "you saw this on ozbargain?"
It's almost like a form of retail ddos, really…
Unfortunately, the stores likely to have stock (corporate stores) can't be contacted directly. Only Australia Post customer service can call these stores directly. The best way to get OW to price match would be to get them to call customer service and confirm stock is still available, however, they will not be open till Tuesday now.
