If you do a search for Infinity, there's a couple of the standalone figures on sale for $9, that'll bump you over the $40 minimum. There's also the Play Zone Bag on sale for $9, apparently a saving of almost $50.
Sorry. What do these things do? Just for decor or you get a game in the bundle?
The game is included in the starter bundle, as well as the three figures that are used as part of the game, and the base that reads the characters to unlock them in the game. You can then purchase additional figures to expand whats available in the game, a bit like Skylanders.
so each figure has its own game/story or just a character to use in the same game like those in-app-purchase?
It depends, the game has a couple of modes. All three of the figures that come with the starter bundle have a "Play Set", which is more like a game with a story etc, and only figures from that respective franchise can appear within that Play Set, for example Sulley can't fight Captain Jack. You can purchase more figures with different Play Sets (Cars, Toy Story etc.) Every figure can also be used in the "Toy Box" which is kind of a free play model where you can cross franchises and build your own world, and there are some figures which are only useable in Toy Box mode (that is, they don't have a corresponding Play Set) like Jack Skellington.

hmmmm so does this mean they may be coming out with a new version soon a la skylanders "swamp force" or did this just not do very well compared to skylanders and they are clearing it out because its not a success?
I do have this on Wii but I doubt the base is compatible?
Also on a side note I heard there is a "marvel" version of this kind of game play coming out soon.
Coming to PS4 too, thinking maybe PS4 will be better to get than the Wii U?

seems like the base is backward compatible with current characters anyway, seems like this might be worth skipping then.
wait is the old base compatible with new characters then? I'd imagine so right, if so wouldn't it be better to get this bundle since it will be cheaper

NB, The game on Windows is free.
But only the software. You still need one of these bundles to get the base and figures.
Windows version doesn't use the base, codes are redeemed online, IIRC.

Some games need the WiiU pro controller as the games need more buttons, so be careful , it depends what you want to play.
Delivery is only $5 (Melbourne), I'd rather pay that then have to Click N Collect. Delivery > Time/Petrol/Parking
