I was just out picking up Mario Kat 8 and saw this at Target, Doncaster Shoppingtown.

    Do people use cradle/stand a lot? Not sure if I'd find it that useful haha, although I haven't even pulled my Wii U from the box so wanted to check with those who had used one.

      I kinda just use it because I have it, if I didn't have it wouldn't really matter. Depends on if you care how you sit your game pad down.

      Yeah I use my stand and cradle, simply because I have both my Wii U gamepad and 3DS at my desk. Whenever I feel the urge to play i just pick it up, when i'm done i prop it to charge. Also looks better when in it's cradle.

        That sounds handy - but I always worry what that sort of charging does to the battery.

      Woah what the, at this price I'm pretty sold. So when it says AC adapter not included, does that mean you have to buy the plug separately? Or is it just a standard charging cable you would have lying around?

      Well I couldn't find the official Nintendo one at my local EB. But managed to grab the Spartan branded cradle which includes a Wiimote charging pack, Wii U pro charging cable (I think is just micro USB), and AC adapter for $4 though :p

    Plenty of the $2 play and protect case at Chatswood Target, 10 at least.
