    The cards were not region free last time I tried to use them. I had my xbox set to U.S and I could not upgrade my account using AU cards. When I switched regions back to AU they worked fine.

      I always thought they were region free? I bought gold from this site 2 days ago. Worked first time on both my US and AU accounts.
      Had no problems at all.

  via email as well. They normally generate code straight after transaction is processed and can see code under G2A account
