Pretty lame/ selfish to order 11.
I bought 11 for people in my office, 1 per person… how is that selfish?
That's 10 other people in the OZB community who could potentially miss out. The 10 people in your office don't contribute anything to OZB, the 10 people here at the very least contribute page views which lead to ad revenue for the site.
We're all developers and are all on OZB but everyone was in a meeting and couldn't buy.
Assuming that I purchased 10 for people that don't use OZB is a bit premature and I make no apologies for buying one for everyone here - these deals usually go quick and it's first come, first serve.
You see, we can't read your mind.
If you don't understand why you simply saying you bought 11 can be seen as selfish, maybe you need to take a step back and see it from another person's point of view.
Then you should of actually mentioned that.
And if you can't read and see that I said I bought 11 for everyone in the office, then maybe you should get your eyes checked.
What would've been selfish is if I had said I bought 11 for myself to sell on ebay and profit.

Great find OP. Clearly a price error and by a very significant margin this time. Way bigger than the sony power bank. Time will tell if they do honor it, will cost them a bunch this round. And if they do honor they're almost certainly only going to give out one per customer.
Ordered ONE to save JB (who is doing the right thing if they honor this) the hassle of doing partial refunds for all you greedy 2+ people above.
Realistically it's not worth $85. It's old tech, Sony are getting out of the market entirely (so its EoL), and the cheap tablets are probably a better bet (and they are cheaper than $85 too).
If JBHiFI are smart they will honour the price, and indeed it wouldn't be stupid of them to have done this in the first place - how long would this eReader take up space in the warehouse without a significant price cut? Anyone looking at just an eReader would be looking towards a Kindle.

I had ordered two of this e-reader, but I don't find any information about the order in my order history on the JBHifi's website, does anyone has the same situation as me?
Yep exactly the same. No email and cant find anything in my order history on the website, but CC has been pre-authorised $1.00.
I did receive the order confirmation in email, but it's not appeared on jbhifi website.
JB has charged my card $1 for some reason. I ordered for pick up in store. Still no confirmation email.
Their OZB filter kicked-in, and shut down web page!

I got that too immediately after ordering but don't think it means 100% honoured yet

i got the same email, seems like a generic order confirmation/pick up email, they can still cancel and refund the money which i believe is what will happen since actual price is around $85 … too big a price diff for them to honor it… :)

PayPal has been deducted $5, got email saying "Please wait for your "Ready For Collection" email to confirm when your goods are ready to be picked up.", I was under the impression that they will not charge paypal until shipped? Don't know but just hope they honour it

I guess if someone goes to pick it up the workers wouldn't really be aware of the error. Did anyone choose in-store pickup? If so, do it asap in case employees are informed of the error soon.
