        Some amazon discounts can only be applied to products sold by amazon, and some apply to products fulfilled by amazon. There are 3 basic things going on there. Some products listed on Amazon are sold and shipped by external merchants. These guys pay either a small fee or a fixed percentage to amazon to list their products in the store. Other items are sold by external merchants but fulfilled by amazon. These products are generally owned by an external company but sit inside of Amazon's warehouse. As a result they are often eligible for shipping promotions in the US, but generally not for overseas. Finally, products sold and fulfilled by amazon were purchased from the manufacturer by amazon and thus they can offer a larger discount because their margins are bigger.

      I generally find ASICS run pretty true to size so I'd just order your regular fit. Not sure about the other brands.

    Nice. Mrs needs some new Kayanos so this will work perfectly. They come to $180AUD using the amazon converter and with free shipping. Around $20 cheaper than the cheapest Australian online store I can find including shipping.

      Obviously it is. But if you're doing squats/deadlifts, I prefer a pair of Vans/Converse. The flat soles helps with stability.

      The Gel Noosa tri a moderate stability trainer for triathlons - so yes its suitable for running. good for gym? well that depends on what you mean by gym - for treadmills, cross training etc yep no worries. For boxing etc I'd say its got too much structure.

      The Gel Noosa fast is like a pair of racing flats - low heel drop, less structure etc.

      If you have not run before I would say the tri's are a a better bet than the fast.

    This was an amazing deal … still have 2 pairs of Asics in transit and it looks like Amazon is not allowed anymore to sell Asics to Australia - they are all (except the not discounted ones) marked "This item does not ship to Australia" :-(
