Again, I believe this is the lowest price the 1TB has been on OzBargain.
MSY currently has it at $589, so a nice saving of around $85.
Pay by 28Degrees (or similar) in US$ to avoid Amazon's lower currency conversion rate. Good luck!

It's AU$523.83 using the Amazon Currency Converter with 8-14 day shipping.
Cheers Amar. I'll take this onboard. I suppose I could just post it in US$, but that may mask the true price a little. Still a great price at $523 AUD if you want to pay using Amazon's conversion rate. I'd suggest anyone buying anything from OS should have a 28Degree card all the same. It's free after all. Have a great evening. TA.
I need a credit card at the moment like I need a hole to the head :P
That being said, I've found that when I pay with my debit Mastercard, the amount I'm charged including 3% fee usually comes pretty close to the AUD value that Google spits out, so I'm happy to take that and run personally.
its close, you mean like its coincidentally 3% off?
So what are the benefits to having a 28 degrees card and do you pay a fee of some sort?
no
theres a whole thread/wiki on it here
its basically no fees or anything so long as you pay the card off before they charge you interest after interest free period
And they use the mastercard Market exchange rate (which is about 3-4% better than the banks)
What's the link for the wiki you mention?
There's some info on this page: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/wiki/cards_with_no_overseas_tra…
I + this deal, so that you can all buy now and when the demand is diminished, I can pick one up :p]
I'm debating whether or not that behaviour is true for an ozbargainer or not.
I'm going to go with yes.
Bought 2 here @ MSY for $679 each. Can't complain. Liquid PC, one is for the OS and the other is a scratch disk. If you want no foreign transaction fee open up a Citbank account and use it and the debit card that comes with it solely for online purchases.
Liquid PC?
Oh, AVID Liquid…
1tb enterprise (re-branded consumer product) SSD drives from Dell cost $7,000 dollars
The dell unit isnt a rebranded consumer unit.
Besides your paying for the QC testing and compatibility.
And if you pay RRP at Dell you are a fool.
What's the price with the fee?
Good work and all but I'm not entirely sure that a low price via one particular type of CC/payment method constitutes a deal for everyone.
