    Have to say the longest lasting and brightest halogens i had here were GE branded.
    Been in the house 12 years and most of the GE's are still ok.
    All the other halogens just failed after a year or so.

    Now most replaced with Nichia 9w leds BUT brightness is no where close the the 50w GE's.
    However the power consumption is much lower :)
