      • +1

OK you talked me into ordering.

        • Was also thinking that it is a shame that I dont have a cat… thankfully this reminded me to the points that can be earned! 500 points away from Level 3 now. Anyone knows what the monthly grocery competition is?

        • Yes nearly there myself, it seems to take a long time to get to Level 3…

  • My cat says thank you. Well… meow. But i'm pretty sure that's his way of saying thank you.

    • I thought they barked

      • +3

        Close. They barf.

        • +3

          I thought they barked

actually thats not as strange as it sounds (or maybe my cat was just strange)

i had a cat i hand reared from a day old after his mother was killed by a car. he had this funny "squeak" thing that he used to do rather than a normal meow that cats do. took me ages to work out what it was till one day i heard him "answering" the dogs next door back with his bark… obviously not having any other cats in his life he didnt learn to meow and didnt know that he wasnt meant to try and bark back at the only other animals he had contact with.

you can also get another can from https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/142502

  • +10

Got one…just need to find a cat now.

    • Maybe they should do an offer…. buy 3 and get a free cat

  • +2

Maybe add "for cats" in the title? This got me excited for nothing. :(

    • Just because its for cats it doesn't mean you can't eat it.

  • +11

Cheers. Just told the wife the pussy is gonna get a nice treat.

    • +8

Hahahah. Good one. Reminded me of the below joke:

There's a lake in the woods and a fly is flying over the water. There's a fish in the water, and he thinks, if the fly drops two inches, I can jump out of the water and eat the fly.

There's also a bear beside the river and he thinks, if that fly drops two inches, the fish will jump out of the water, and I can eat the fish.

There's a hunter in the woods and he thinks, if that fly drops two inches, the fish will jump out the water, the bear will go after the fish, and I can shoot the bear.

There's a mouse behind the hunter, and he thinks, if that fly drops two inches, the fish will jump out the water, the bear will go after the fish, the hunter will shoot the bear, and the recoil from the hunter's gun will make the ham and cheese sandwich fall out of his pocket.

There's a cat watching the mouse, and he thinks, if that fly drops two inches, the fish will jump out the water, the bear will go after the fish, the hunter will shoot the bear, the recoil from the hunter's gun will make the ham and cheese sandwich fall out of his pocket, and I can eat the mouse.

So this is what happens: the fly drops two inches, the fish jumps for the fly, the bear goes after the fish, the hunter shoots the bear, the recoil from the hunter's gun knocks the ham and cheese sandwich out of his pocket, the mouse goes after the sandwich, the cat goes after the mouse, slips, and falls into the water.

The moral of the story? It takes a lot of foreplay to get a pussy wet.

  • Will be interesting to see if my cats like after years of whiskas.

  • Hahahahaha…..I only realised its cat food on the pinch me page…..Do Coles take returns for credit without a receipt?

  • +4

I'm sure my cat will eat it…

But how do they expect us to give feedback?

Yes my cat has eaten it, but it also eats dog food and anything else it can find so thanks for the free food?

  • are these now at a level fit for human consumption?

    • Yes and no. I've already Google'd it. Some contain more meat by-product (bone/sinew/cartilage) than others, some less.

      • so, its not much different to say a fast food burger meal then? in fact it may actually be more healthy for you?

        • A lot of cat food contains essential vitamins and minerals so there is some truth in this.

        • you can only try and tell us , maybe keep a few at home as emergency food?

    • According to a Current Affair, pensioner love this and Pal spread on toast.

  • Thanks OP :) :)

  • Thanks OP

  • Just in time for Mothers Day.. Thanks

  • Dont' have a cat so I'll give this one a pass, save it for those who actually want it.

    • I don't have a cat but I want one, fancy feast is great on some wholemeal toast with some shaved parmesan.

  • -1

Perfect! Ordered one for my girlfriends pussy!

    • +3

Doesn't need it. Already fishy enough as is ;)

  • -1

    Mobile phone verification…no thanks

  • ta

  • Only came here to look for funny comments

  • i can vouch that stray cats arent attracted to this food. Ive been using this exact brand for the last week and my cat trap remains empty :(

  • Got one, thanks. But I don't see this offer when logging straight in, it's only visible via OP's link.

It still shows Uncle Tobys Oat Crisp as the only offer and it's out of stock. The next offer is apparently 20th May. Anyone else noticing this?

    • +1

It's an email pre-release, mentioned in the first post.

  • Is this safe for human consumption? Asking for a friend.

  • Appreciated, PinchMe don't seem to have a a decent notification system for us members… Cheers

    • +1

PinchMe don't seem to have a a decent notification system for us members

well, they do… its just that the deals posted on OzB are not yet meant for the general public so your just getting in at the very start of them.

i think i read that this sample is only meant to go "live" to the general public on the 20th of this month

      • -1

And you must work for Pinch Me or have inside knowledge to know this information as well as the person that originally posted this lead…

        • And you must work for Pinch Me or have inside knowledge

or you know… maybe ive just used OzB to get my pinchme samples for a while now and know how it works? ive spent time reading all the commnents on all the deals including the pinchme ones to get a feel for how things work?

im not sure how it works as to how they get it before the masses, but i think the OP is probably on a higher level than i am and they usually get first pick of the samples. i only find out about them the same way you do, by following OzB closely/regularly.

          http://images.pinchme.com.au/185BD00121B2FE7D1EA772351F58E69…

assuming that link works, you can see it says the next sample (this sample) will only be given out to the masses (via facebook and there own front page) on the 20th.

if you go back and look at previous pinchme samples posted on OzB you will see the kind folk who post these deals always post them before they are ofically sent out to us plebs :)

        • That's the point I am making, someone has inside knowledge to put this like 13 days before the actual PinchMe people have access to it. Not giving legitimate PinchMe people getting access to the item on the 20th…

        • no… the point you are making completely fails…

no one has inside knowledge.. if your a pinchme user you will realise that the more you use it the more points you get… and the more point you get the more samples you are given…

its kinda like OzB.. the more effort you put into checking it the more "rare" deals you end up getting.

        • Tyson64, read this post https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/143304#comment-1977593

          • I am a Pinch Me ordinary member
          • I was invited to do a questionnaire (points? whatever)
          • I did it and was rewarded with this link to get the sample early
          • someone posted the deal for ordinary members to access the deal early whereas it was intended to reward specific members for doing a survey
          • once we were rewarded the deal would go "public" with whatever stock was left over
  • IIRC I was sent an email as a Pinch Me member inviting me to take part in a survey for a chance to be notified of this deal early. I filled out the survey and worked for my limited quantity/pre-release invitation, which was emailed to me. I was surprised to see it was already up on OzBargain for hours. So the people who deserve it potentially miss out on it, whereas the general OzBargain community hammer the deal they weren't supposed to get (yet). I guess any PinchMe deal is only open to registered members, so I can't be too annoyed when they are posted to OzBargain (as reminders), but targeted deals like this are another matter.

  • Anyone in Brisbane don't want their free cat food? :p

  • My cat loved it thanks!
