  The PS3's HDD is just a 2.5" HDD. Would of been cheaper to buy a 12GB PS3 then buy a HDD of your choice.

      its actually cheaper to buy this that to build your own one assuming you want the 2 games

    Not really anymore as the prices for 12gb ps3's aren't that competitive atm (and the hdd effectively is free and you need the caddy)

      No it doesn't. Mine worked fine with a piece of cardboard slotted in next to it.

  Can't see the value here when you could get an xbox 360 with 2 games, free delivery for $69 about 4 months back. Where are the real PS3 deals. Should be $100 by now!!!

    Wii only gets to 99 sometimes and Nintendo don't have to pay any fees for DVD/Blu-Ray licensing. I think the PS3 going to 100 is asking too much considering how much more technology and expense goes into making it.
