Have a look at A1 Airport parking for 1 Day trips. They are only $15. They get you to the terminal soon as you are ready.

I am so over the Long Term Car park, majority of the time it takes 30 mins from terminal to car. Bloody joke.

  • The "Other deals" page linked gives a '404 - Page not found' error (it needs a .html at the end):

However, parking for almost a month in the 'value' carpark for up to 28 days is only $99 so its worth considering.

  • Dirty airport scum… I hate it when they know they have you over a barrel and charge like a wondered bull!! That's crazy… I mean I could catch a cab at there standard prices!

  • Thanks! Exactly what I needed! Picking up someone from the airport tomorrow!

Im amused that ozbargainers still pay for parking at melb airport even with a slight reduction in the ripoff rates!
And im not talking about the now well patrolled maccas parking spots

    • If going on holidays, what alternate do you suggest?
The rates here are cheaper than any others I could find, and (when time/convenience are factored in) are reasonable compared to public transport costs.
