Huge 72-hour flash sale on these rooms, plus an extra 10% off if you use the coupon and the mobile site/iOS or Android app and the code MOBILE10N. If you use the coupon code you don't get Welcome Rewards, but I would prefer the straight cash discount.

Note: rooms are non-refundable.

I don't know how big this sale is, if it is just Manila or other Tune hotels, but the price saving is crazy, when the average hotel price in Makati is $60+ and it is practically impossible to find a room anywhere near Makati for less than $30 a night. Location is great, close to the new Century City Mall and the building I was renting a condo from last year, at The Gramercy Residences. It is walking distance to Rockwell, or just one Jeepney ride away from Greenbelt/Glorietta.

For $10.80, you get a Queen sized bed, free wifi, free air-con, towels, etc…. I just booked 26 nights in June/July.

I am not sure if the coupon code works if you choose AUD, so switch it to USD.

I also used the User Agent Switcher addon in Chrome instead of using the mobile app.

  • For which dates?

    • Seems like it is wide open, dates in May/June/July.

  • works in win7+opera as well and dont forget w hotels.com every 10th night is free (equivalent of 10% credit from $ paid for those 10 nights) which it technically brings below $10/night mark, awesone find :)

    • No, unfortunately if you use the coupon code it says you don't get the welcome rewards. It is better to use the coupon and get a cash discount IMHO.

That is a sensational price, especially with all of the extras included. I have stayed there before, and whilst I only rate it a 2.5 stars hotel, at that price -> the value for money is 5 stars. I have seen it not long ago in the mid $40's. Close to the action & safe location. June to November is most likely time for typhoons in the Phils.

    • True - but that part of Makati is immune from flooding. As I said, I lived on the 9th floor of Gramercy which is about 2 minutes walk from Tune Makati and the worst typhoon we had in Manila last year around that time, didn't really affect this area besides on the second/third day the amount of open restaurants dropped from 200 to 100 as staff couldn't get to work from their flooded barangays and cities.

  • anything for singapore, HOng Kong?

I've stayed here before and would agree that Makati is a good location to stay in Manila. This hotel is not exactly in the best part of Makati though and is surrounded by a few "dodgy" type bars. One of them has midget wrestling though so if that's your thing it could be good. Apart from this it's a great price for a clean and comfortable bed.

You're a star zan5hin. Can confirm these hugely discounted rates apply at least to Tune Hotel in Cebu as well and also seems to apply to other booking sites. I just booked Tune Hotel in Cebu on Agoda.com.au for AUD 12.06/night. This is an unbelievable price! I have stayed there a couple of times before and it's great. This enabled me to cancel a booking (free cancellation) I had for the same period (June)which after accumulated points value was $645 and replace it with this booking that cost me $141 (again after accumulated points credit of $27). Very Happy!!! (Other booking was a different hotel, but comparable as far as I'm concerned).

    • No worries man, glad I could help….. That is a massive cost saving for you!

      • Sure was…Thanks again. Even at Agoda's supposed 50% off sale it represents close to another 75% off….Brilliant!

    • Geoffr, how is Tune Hotel in Cebu for location and safety please?

      • Location is superb - about 200 metres walk from Ayala Mall, which if you know Cebu is very popular. There's also a 7-11 next door which can be handy.I've stayed there on 3 or 4 occasions and had no problems safety wise. It is a weird set-up with reception on the third floor and entry via a ground floor lobby that really only contains the lifts but there is a security guard manning the door 24-7 for what that's worth in the Philippines.

must have been an error i checked for tune cebu those prices you quoted not available

      • Possibly….Just checked and you're right, the prices are back up again

  • zan5hin did you get an email alerting you to this flash sale? If so was there any further info eg. restrictions etc.? I used to be bombarded with emails from Hotels.com but they have slowed to a trickle, and I did not get this one. Now I am trying to squeeze another trip in to the Phils to take advantage of this. Hotel cost usually a major travel expense, so I love a hotel bargain.

    • No email, I was on another forum and someone was asking for cheap accomodation, and another poster showed an Agoda screenshot which has the cheap Tune hotel price and that is how I found it.

  • says coupon code only valid in some locations

    • Yes, that is why u should switch to USD currency

  • If in the P burgos area, I highly recommend a professional, 'ABSOLUTELY no funny business' massage. It was either 100php or 200php (sorry memory cloudy) plus tip. It was less than half of the price of anywhere else, and really nice people. As you go North, deep into P Burgos it is on the left hand side not far from corner P. Valdez.
