I sent an email through the website yesterday but never got a reply. Seems the rep is active here so I'll ask here.
First time customer & I received a few bags yesterday. One bag wasn't vacuumed sealed but the rest were.
Does it matter much?
Hi, I did reply to your email yesterday. Please check in case it went to spam. I just needed more clarification as to what you mean by vacuum sealed? Our bags are valved resealable bags but aren't vacuumed. We do also heat seal the bags to prevent spillage. Is this what you mean?
I suppose there is the possibility that one could have slipped through without being heat sealed but this wouldn't effect the coffee.

3 of them were sealed tight with no air at all. The 4th was sealed - but you could squeeze air out of the valve. Tastes great anyway thanks.
No problem, thanks. It's not something to be concerned about. Just how they happen to have been transported. The coffee beans continue to release co2 after roasting(especially in the initial few days and it helps the flavours develop) so bags can swell up. Once they reach a certain pressure the valve in the bag activates and releases air.
This is why it is often best to store in the bags they come in, away from light, heat and moisture

Hi Shane, sent you an email. Additional empty valved resealable bags are $1 each and unfortunately these deals are whole bean only. We do sell grinders though if you need one and would be a worthwhile investment if you were planning to continue buying fresh roasted coffee as it extends the freshness of the coffee by a couple of weeks if you grind as you go. Feel free to give me a call if you need any help
