    Better off just using cordial.

  • This was in the current catalogue (page 22 VIC), hence started Wednesday 16th for 1 week.

Similar to when I saw a restaurant called Barnacle Phils

      • Dr. Phil flavour - not a big seller for some reason…

        • Makes you go bald. But you do get a moustache.

I was going to buy one of these, until I saw this…

  • Dude , I left target like 20 minutes ago…

  • I'm waiting for the 'Dr. Dre' flavour, the one that is a black cola with a random flavour mixed into every different batch. But it's always completely awesome!

Are any of them not artificial sweetened?

    • All the flavours and ingredients can be found here

You didn't happen to check every flavour did you?

My understanding is that they are ALL artificially sweetened to a degree. So all will taste like crap.

        • Artificially-flavoured and preserved too. The sweetener is Sucralose.

        • JV's "better off using cordial" comment that got negged really is accurate.

I found it curious that the SodaStream website was hosted in Israel; then I found this unexpected piece of information:

SodaStream is currently headquartered in Lod, Israel and has 13 production plants; its principal manufacturing facility is located in the West Bank settlement of Ma'ale Adumim.

    • and this changes your decision on whether to buy it or not?

I was never going to buy it in the first place. Not because they're Israeli, but because it's full of artificial sweeteners.

Although I guess to some folks, manufacturing stuff on an Israeli settlement that has outstanding legality issues could be unethical enough of a reason to boycott a product.
