  • This is my experience, so take it with whatever importance you like. I bought a pair of shoes during the subscriber special early last week. Here is my account of their service so far:

    1. Shoes purchased Monday 7th of April in the morning.
    2. Shoes shipped on 9th of April.
    3. Shoes spend 5 days in limbo with Australia post on tracking system.
    4. Email Clarks twice to get an update on why shoes are being 'returned to sender, contact sender for resolution'
    5. Did not receive a response either time I requested information from Clarks. None.
    6. Contact them on Clarks Australia Facebook Wednesday 16th. Their customer service response 2 hours later - 'apologies, we will escalate this issue and someone will get back to you first thing Thursday 17th in the morning'
    7. Not one word from Clarks all day April 17th. No contact. Shoes have now been returned to sender since 16th. I have no idea what is going on as their customer service is non existent.
    8. Now I will have to spend more of my time chasing them up for a product I paid for but haven't received, and have received barely any customer service for.

    Maybe I shouldn't compare to other countries, where service standards are higher. Maybe my expectation is too high that I should receive something I purchased within a week as is it only coming from Victoria.

    Or maybe, just maybe, I will simply never order from Clarks Australia Online ever again.

      Ordered on 09/04. Shipped on 10/04. Got them on 15/04.

      In your case it sounds like Aus Post stuffed up. But then you also got done by some poor customer service from Clarks. Bugger! :(
