Even top 6 in Staticicice comes out cheaper with DWI direct comes 6th, which is cheaper than buying from DWI on Ebay

On a more serious note, go with a local JB store or I've heard that Digital Camera Warehouse may match local (not ebay/gray import) prices. Going to try for a 70D later on in the year.

JB Hifi sells the camera for around $1,615.00 when they have their usual 15% off on cameras.

Not a deal for grey imports, only ~10% less than regular prices at local retailers. Which means you can easily buy them locally (with a real 12 month Australian manufacturer’s warranty, unlike those useless grey importer's store warranties) for similar prices if you wait for a sale (i.e 15% off camera deals at JBHIFi as someone else mentioned above), claim GST through TRS, or in some cases by haggling with the sales staff.
Canon warranty in Australia is now 2 years.
Not a great deal of bargain. With that price I will buy it from Australia and get the Australia 2 yr warranty.
Push comes to shove, if you had to buy it from DWI, it would be cheaper to buy it from DWI's store direct for AUD $1619 with free ship.
