Ensure to contact amazon to readjust the price of your current sale. Also amazon doesnt charge your bank until it ships.

      • says my item was shipped no payment taken

Make sure to update the firmware as soon as you get them, these were probably manufactured last year, so it's unlikely they're going to have MU05 (25/03/14) already loaded onto them.

Also, don't stuff around with the firmware installer as it's quite finicky. Just burn the firmware ISO onto a disc, and boot from it. Much more sure-fire way to update.

  • Silly question but how does warranty work with these drives from the USA?

    • Because is $585 pick up at umart in brisbane and I would get 3 year local warranty.

      • Amazon's warranty is pretty good they pay for return shipping and do advanced shipments as well. Cruical has international warranty which works irrespective of where you purchase it.

        • How do they pay return shipping, do they send some type of pre-paid parcel?

        • No they refund you into your account once you show proof of shipping.

  • Grabbed a 960Gb unit. Thanks, OP!

  • Bought the 480GB for what looks like A$258 delivered on the 28D card. Made sure it went through in US$, otherwise it would be $265….,although that depends on the Aussie dollar.
