While going to IKEA Tempe to pick up (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/139518) i also saw this 12 piece dinnerware set going for $3.99 ($9.99 for non family members)

I got a few sets of these when they were on special last year - for the price they're great.
However, the large plate is rather small for a 'dinner plate'.
The bowl is a bit small (and wrong shape IMHO) for breakfast cereal, but great for smaller portions of dessert.
Also, since it's only 12 piece there are no mugs/cups included.From memory (they're at home) they are Made in China from 'Feldspar Porcelain'.
Almost cheap enough to smash 'em, Greek style!
The dinnerware set is NOT on special for $3.99 at Ikea Springvale/Vic … might be limited to the shop the OP visited.
I can confirm these were NOT on sale at Logan/QLD when I checked on Sunday..
I think SA & WA excluded then…
