I wonder if HB have had a drop in sales due to their new pricing scheme. Ever since they introduced this new $15 tied I have not bought a single bundle from them, previously it was just impulse buy and then decide if I even wanted it. I'm sure there are many in the same position.

    Edit:
When it reaches $10 - $15 I actually look and check for other deals. Example Probably Archery is available in the IndieGala Supreme Bundle for $4.99 (10 games) so you could PWWY the HB deal, or even $6 tier and get the IndieGala bundle aswell.

Yeh, I think adding more tiers has ruined it. When it was PWWY+BTA it was an instant buy for me @ BTA. The $10 tier was always a bit meh and now having a $15 tier? No thanks.

It seems you, the OP & me all made the same mistake (or maybe we all just copied each other)

        PWWY

Pay What Want You? Should be PWYW ;)

    • I always bought them at $1, but have not played a single game. Now it's too ….. complicated ….

The other thing about the newer bundles that sucks is that they include a single Triple-A title and then use that to justify increasing the cost for the other games, which aren't necessarily worth as much.

All of the good PWYW Humble Bundles from last year were about classics, with a nice combination of vintage and more recently popular games from about 5 years ago.
(E.g. The Retro Shooters bundle, Origin Bundle and THQ Bundle; those got hundreds of upvotes, the kinds of deals where by the time you decide whether you want the games or not, they're already in your Steam library).

Now it's all gone bizarro with books, music, mobile games and way too much indie stuff. Nothing against indie games but there's only a few hours of gameplay in most of them.

I used to look forward to the Humble Bundle being a regular staple of OB, now it's just clogging up the deals page in my opinion.

State of Decay is an awesome game. I'm tempted to pick it up so I can have it on PC, but $15 isn't too far off what I paid on Xbox. Sadly I already have most of the other games in this bundle, otherwise it would be a good deal for me otherwise.

    • Loved State of Decay but it was waaay to short!! I ended up reloading a save from before the end to run around for a couple more hours.

And the "removal" of multiplayer hurt.. That would've been epic!

They're offering Guacamelee again? They just had it in a bundle a few weeks ago! (it was an awesome game though)

Surgeon Simulator for a dollar! Thanks HB.

PewDiePie livens the internet so well. Cat Mario and Goat Simulator are two excellent examples.

  • I am looking for GMOD and call of duty deal? Anyone knows where I can get good deal on these?

  • State of Decay is an awesome game but as others have said, bit short. Was also disappointed that the update pack didnt really add anything, jsut the ability to re-start with a different group. Multiplayer would be awesome, as would additional storyline/areas to explore/new vehicles etc.

Agree with other posters, $15 takes the bundle beyond 'impulse' territory. A lot of $ for some games I probably wont get the time to play.

  • $15 for all these if you don't have them is amazing.

$15 for all of these if you already have State of Decay and/or Surgeon Sim is…. mehhhh.

But I totally recommend it to everyone who hasn't played Surgeon Sim or State of Decay.

  • Only really interested in State of Decay but $15 is a bit much.
