Not sure about the quality but an excellent price for a cheap camp out. Appears to be a new line at everyday price. Pic won't upload on WP8!

According to the website it's $29… and it's leaky…
https://www.bigw.com.au/sports-leisure/camping/tents-gazebos…Hence the price reduction :)
Can you trust one bad review?
If it crap, then just return it.So you're saying I should spend a round-trip of $10 in fuel to find out if a $12 tent is crap?
Sounds reasonable.Anyhow, if there's a price reduction, why isn't it marked as such on the website?
That looks like a different tent. Picked mine up in store (Southland, Vic) and it scanned at $12. As for leaking - well would not surprise me. It has a hanky sized bit of plastic to cover the top air vent, and being so small there is no way you could avoid touching the sides unless you usually live with a really pale chick and 6 other guys. Or you're a small child. So consider this a disposable single-use tent, or an emergency job… or as in my case, something for the kids to play with inside the house.
Not only is the vent-cover hanky sized, it's also on the inside - any sort of rain will go right though the mesh and down the inside walls.
However, it's small, lightweight, compact and for $12 can't go wrong.
I got one to keep in the car and next time I go camping will be ideal for storing all kinds of things that I don't want to sleep next to.I have a sun shelter with same sort of vents. I assumed water would get in but it actually doesn't. One of mine is broken so the cover is loose and still doesn't leak.
that's a pretty cool nickname for a store rep
prob just a Woolies group employee disclosing his "vested interest" :)
Awww, chucks guys. blushes. You nailed it :P
Cheaper than to buy replacement poles
OK - here's the actual tent: https://www.bigw.com.au/offer/catalogue#view=product&itemId=…
Bought one the other day for the kids to play with over the school holidays. It is of course small…. but quality wise I'd say it's worth at least $15. ;-)
