I think this a very good price for a 5 port Gigabit switch and a reasonable brand. It has a lot of good reviews on amazon and across the interwebz.

Wow, $24 for the TP-Link 8 port. I paid something like $70 several years ago. Nice to know I can pick up a replacement just like that. Mine has been in 24/7 use since I bought it. Not much to go wrong in a switch.
Not a deal. MSY sell a bunch of equivalent/better 5 port gigabit switches, price range $18 to $38 with Australian warranty.
Also D-Link stuff is generally pretty average. Better to get a more reputable brand like Netgear.
That's a matter of opinion what you prefer or what you deem as equivalent. I prefer d link to net gear.
You can buy these locally for less.
Where can I buy this model for less?

Look at the model number you linked to a different product. Threw unit I posted can't be had for $19
So it's a model G? What's the difference from previous models? G for green?
The A model sold in Aus could designate Australian power plug. The G model from Amazon would have a US plug (maybe G stands for Generic?) I'd imagine both models are identical apart from the power plug.
