Paypal deal is basically 20% bonus when you spend $50. Agreed it is better but any PSN discount is worthy of a +ve.
If you get 5% cashback when using paywave in store, this equates to - spend $42.75 (after 5% cashback) and get 17% bonus. So works out close to the Paypal deal…
How did you get 17% bonus?
I got :
- Paypal deal - 16.67%
- DSE deal + 5% back - 14.50%
- DSE deal + Gift cards ($550 for $500) - ~18%ING/Mebank paywave 5% cashback on purchases under $99
True.
What's the Paypal deal?
PayPal deal is basically 16.67% off

Where can i find the full catalogue.
Lasoo and dicksmith has the current catalogue which ends in 2 days(9th).
can anyone link me where i can find the catalogue which starts on the 10th?
I couldn't find it on their site either. It only arrived in my mailbox yesterday. It may only appear when it is available? It is a "SAVE MORE THESE HOLIDAYS getaway with great deals over easter" catalog.
It seems as though everyone is talking about US PSN being better, so I have a few questions.
US PSN+ has better deals, is there anything your missing out on by not having AU PSN+?
Will using US PSN+ cause more lag when I play my AU friends?
I ask this because I notice most people seem to have both, but I'm only going to go for one or the other, leaning more towards US as the PSN+ is cheaper overall and when I get the PS4 ill need it to play online, the deals are just a bonus!
if you only have one account (let's say US), you will have problem with redeeming code (for online pass, extra content, downloadable content) from newly-purchased copies from AU or EU.
Nowadays collector's edition or special edition (physical disc) of any game will only include download code only, not in-disc content. Unless you're planning to buy digitally via PSN only, you should be fine.
Pricewise, US has much cheaper PS+ price and discounts. I don't know about lag during online play but multiplayer may or may not be locked to regional servers (which is rare).
Lets just say for PS3 I may have access to any copy of a game I like, but once I jump over to PS4 I would be purchasing Local Legit games (imported copys aren't really cheaper lately?) then with DLC's I could have issues so I would need plus for both regions, with that being the case I would be better suited to just going with an AU PSN+ because I don't need the discounts on the PS3 games and to play PS4 online ill need psn+.
Thanks for the info, anyone else have input please feel free to comment :)
I haven't tried it but I heard that you only need one account with PS+ on PS4. The other accounts in the same PS4 won't need PS+ to access online play. So you can just subscribe PS+ for your US account, and your AU account doesn't need PS+ to play online (as long as it is activated in the same PS4).
One more thing, PS+ gives you access to online storage but I don't know if the same PS4 rule applies to it. To be safe, you should pay for PS+ on your "main" account (trophies?), so all of your save data will be automatically uploaded since they're locked to your account.
then with DLC's I could have issues so I would need plus for both regions
No, you would not need plus on both accounts to play the DLC (even online) but I believe you can only play the DLC on a account that matches that DLCs region.
henrikoez's comment: I can confirm this. Currently I have 2 accounts on my ps4; one with PS+ the other without and both can play online.
^ can someone confirm if this works.
Though the paypal deal is still a little better.
