No,to me cool means different. Once products such as these enter mass production people chasing cool purchase them. They dont value the design or aesthetics, they just get it because its fashionable. Im on ozbargain, so of course im price sensative with purchases, expensive is not cool.
if you buy furniture to be "cool" (whether that means high price or being "different"), and not because you appreciate the design of nice furniture, then well…you're so "cool"!
