  • Keep it in context guys! Some of you relate or even equate Malaysia to Asia, the US and the rest of the world which is obviously another matter. Malaysia is just Malaysia. No more no less.

  • AirAsia rocks!

  • Good deal where you can get it, which doesn't appear to be anytime convenient for the "10 day weekend" Easter/Anzac day period.

thank OP. Managed to book flight during my sem break

  • Excellent value!

  • do they have a scoot-thru equivalent. trying to go SYD-India via KL

  • noob question, but what is ex? exclusive?

    • To help you understand:
      ex means "exit from"

  • "ex" is departure point, ie ex Melbourne (Dep melbourne)

  • +1

tempted to book, fuuuuuuuuuuuu……. going to thailand or philippines. just got back from malaysia, bali, vietnam, thailand with the mrs on AirAsia and every flight was perfect. not a single issue at all.

last year however flying on airasia, i hated the flight. cramped small seats. this time I booked seats 1A, 1B on each leg (paid about 10 bucks per person) and got on the flight first and got off the flight first.

    solid investment :)

    • Doing it wrong. Get on last, then off first. Least time spent in plane is the winner.

    • AirAsia is not Malaysian airlines, but good try troll.

it's just that you're realy not funny.

MH is a full service airline and does not usually charge for 'extra' services.
AA is a budget airline and charges for extra services.
Ryan air once contemplated charging for toilet usage. If the oxygen masks are to be deployed and passengers are to buy oxygen at the last minute rate will cost a fortune. prepaying for one's oxygen usage during the booking time is more affordable.

        • go away

  • they used to had $200~$250 return……
consider the dropping AUD, was hoping they will get the price down to $300 ex Melb sometime soon :-P

  • I view most low cost carriers with a lot of suspicion. JetStar in particular, who seem to take great delight in screwing you over in every way they can.
Having said that, Virgin are pretty good.
It's probably smart of AA to do some advertising now and see if they can pickup some business off their embattled competition.
