    Just price matched at OW, got 2x for $28.50! I was almost feeling sorry for them when they keyed in $69 each for a total of $138, price matched to $28.50 …. now thats a bargain if I ever saw one!

    These have Broadcom chipsets which aren't supported by linux, a note for anyone not using windows.

    how do you get Office Works to match the price? just show the MSY website to them? is it that easy?

      Walked in, picked one off the shelf, walked up to the counter and asked for a price match with the screen showing on my phone.

      The guy did call head office who were aware of the MSY deal, so it went through without a fuss.

      I just used their laptop display to bring up the MSY page, asked a staff member for help, showed them the add and asked for a price match guarantee… too easy. Sales droid liked the price and said he was going to buy a few when he knocked off.

    Just off phone with OfficeWorks, they just lied saying QLD MSY has no stock of this adapter, so refused to price match. No matter how i explained i could buy it off their website right now. In the end, i bought one from MSY and selected pick up from MorningSide store. A bit far from me, but anyway i will find a time to pick it up.

      I don't know of any way you can take it further mate but they definitely lied to you. It is only out of stock for online order in VIC here in QLD all branches still have them.

      Go to a different OfficeWorks. When I was trying to get an Asus T100, one store would not sell it no matter what. Went to the next store a few suburbs over and got it straight away.

    Doesn't support Windows 8? I have trouble to install driver on 64bit Windows 8.

    maybe that's why its so cheap? I have a pci express wifi adapter N TP Link and it doesn't support Win8… after I built my new rig it was restarting non stop and I didn;t know what it was until I disconnected it.. now I'm using an old Dlink USB but its only G. I guess for internet and gaming it doesnt matter much?
