Sygic 25% Discount - Valid until 5th April

30
REF9132UOLTJV1877

Hi Folks,

I just bought a copy of Sygic for Australia, and one of their "deals" is that you get a 25% off discount code at the end of the transaction. With the current exchange rate, it works out to about $30 with the discount code, rather than $41…

Hope that it helps someone out - I've tried a heap of free, and "evaluation" copies of various navigation apps on Android, and find that Sygic is by far the best I've used.

Disclaimer: if you buy a copy using this discount code, they will give me 12 months worth of "Live Traffic" at no cost to me…

  • Sygic is great. But I thought it's always been free on Android?!
I have got it on my android phone….used it occasionally in past 2 years. Dont remember paying for it.
OR DID I DOWNLOAD A CRACKED VERSION?

Not a Disclaimer but a Private Interest Disclosure.

    • same same… I was upfront about it… :)

  • There are free options as city2maps . It's a good app but I don't think I would pay 30 for it. You can always use the free trial or city2maps for offline navigation. But I think that goggle navigation now supports offline maps.

  • If this is a single use only code then it belongs in forums and is not a deal.

    • it's let me send at least 10 referral emails to people I know - I believe it's a multi-use code

FYI you can get a 40% discount on top if you check the code at the following link. I got the world pack for about AUD $67 by using it.

For those not wanting to click the link and at least give Android PIT some add revenue the code is APIT854558

  • Last time they have 30% off and buy 1 get 1 free, $41.53 for 2 World license

  • True ozbargainer doesn't spend money for something that is free & just as good (better in this case). Google Maps

    • try going overseas, and paying roaming data charges for Google Maps, and come back and say it's "free"

      • True ozbargainer gets a local sim card when he travels overseas. Paying for roaming charges is a thing of 2007 for a True Ozbargainer)

    • Google Maps requires an internet connection to calculate routes. Sygic does not. So it is not better, nor is it just as good.
If you don't believe me, download local maps for offline use, turn data off, and ask Google maps to calculate a route for you.

city2maps is free and offline maps. Usually when you travel overseas you buy a locak simcard with data, either for your phone or for another tethering device.

  • Can I buy this using Google Play account credits?
