When did these ever get above $79? Still looking for the next $39.50 special.

    • Yeah, I agree. But I think your referring to the standard model, this is their premium Extreme ( faster ) model.

    • Also 3 GB of data included with the harsh, short 30 day expiry. I read a good year ago that in the U.S. they started upping the cost of data, and having much smaller data inclusions with these sorts of gadgets and your plans, both postpaid/contracts or prepaid. It was coming soon to our shores. We have seen a few telcos pushed out, and most have made data a lot more expensive. There are still a couple around offering good deals, Amaysim and Aldi, certain Virgin offerings, but you need to look hard.

i think also vodafone were in a big customer drive so $100 for 10/12Gb deals were common

you can still find some ie. Amaysim and Vaya but its not common now

  • When you go to vodafone web site and you can see that it is selling at $109.

  • locked? unlocked?

    • I bought one of these and immediately submitted the IMEI to Vodafone for the unlock code. They supplied me the unlock code for free within a few days (I assume they consider it to be a superseded model now). However, they did not provide any unlock instructions "THE UNLOCK INSTRUCTION FOR THIS MODEL IS NOT AVAILABLE". I could not find anything online about it either. I couldn't get the latest DC-unlocker to work. Anyone able to help here?

    Locked

Go on Month to Month MBB plan at Voda and you get the 4G Cat 4 Device for $89 (charged on first bill)
And as its postpaid you can unlock it for free (if it is even locked)
