Now you'll just have to get over the psychological price/value mismatch this sale has created and buy one for more than you now think it's worth.

The keyword is 'investment', to get the most out of it you will need to continually pour money in to it (games, subscriptions etc). Since all games for PS4 are new releases (ie there are no old classic cheap games) all games are ~$50+ (assuming you import) or ~$80 local price. It quickly becomes an expensive investment.

I called them today and they told me the reason is my account name is not same as the name on credit card. I am using my gf's account WTF. They will find out any reason to cancel your order I think.
Fairly standard anti fraud measure actually. If the surnames match they rarely have issues, but for a completely different name - alarms go up.

What will you new PS4 owners be playing on your PS4s? I bought mine at the US launch and still have yet to buy a game.
Wondering if I should get Infamous SS. I enjoyed the mechanics and controls of the first game. But the missions pissed me off. They were repetitive also. I didn't like missions where you had to chase a courier and not be spotted, or disarm 20 bombs, or the worst one of all, the one where you get a picture and have to find an object hidden somewhere going off just that picture. This was enough to make me skip Inf2 (that and the new voice actor and look of Cole) so I'm not sure if I'm ready for SS plot wise, though it does look very awesome from the trailers I've seen.
PS Plus freebies until; the order 1866, the division and drive club get released. I don't think any of the release day titles interested me.
I'm in the same situation. Had mine from November but there's nothing to play. PS+ didn't give any exclusives and the only good one IMO was resogun which I have platinumed twice (goes to show how bored I was).
Can't believe drive club still isn't out. It was meant to be a launch title too.
I am going to use it as a bluray player until some better games comes out :)
Got mine a few minutes ago. Thought it would be the pebble I ordered before the ps4 very surprised to see it came so quick. Thought it would be late march. Oh well. My bro is a playstation guy and I'm a Nintendo guy. We just borrow each other's games so this was a real bargain for me :)

Yes it will look better as you get the enhanced graphics of the PS4 version.
I know this is not the right place to review a console, but these are some things people with slow internet (like me) should know.
This has been my biggest issue with the console so far. I have slow internet (ASL1 512k) and download management and queueing is pretty much essential in preventing me from going insane. I have minor issues with the GUI but that is likely a getting used to thing.
