    Good ol' Tex

"You do realize that what I'm about to tell you could put you in the same amount of trouble that I'm in."
"That's OK. Danger's like Jell-O, there's always room for more."

Hey… there's a new Tex game due for release in April!

    • Yeah I can't wait!! I was part of the Kickstarter - I've been wanting another Tex adventure since Overseer so many years ago…

  • Does GOG have to modify and recode the games? Some of these came on multiple discs, and at some point it would have to say insert disc 2 or disc 3. How does GOG get around that problem when turning it digital?

I've had some GOG games where the original CD had CD audio which obviously won't be in the download, but you still get the music.

Does GOG do this or do the developers do it? The game I'm talking about is from a defunct developer and publisher that don't exist anymore, so I doubt it is them..

    • From their Indie Dev Statements video, it sounds like GOG do it - http://www.gog.com/indie

    • I got Pandora Directive, which used to be a 6-disc game, and finished it. It doesn't ask for the other discs and just plays straight from the hard drive in one continuous playthrough.
