Any feedback on how either tastes?

    • +2

The wagyu 3 ways is very tasty. A bargain at this price.

      • +1

have you tried the truffle one too?

        • Nope, Sorry

        • -4

          This or Maccas amore meal???

        • +1

They are alright, but really they should of just been one pizza. By themselves they lack any balance.

    • +3

Lifehacker did a 'Taste Test' review of the Wagyu Pizza's, check out the link below for images and their thoughts…

      http://www.lifehacker.com.au/2014/02/taste-test-are-dominos-…

      Wagyu 3 Ways Score: 8/10
      Wagyu & Truffle Hollandaise: 6/10

  • +1

Can you imagine what the "truffle" constitutes? Let alone the wagyu

    • +2

      Probably constitutes truffle.

      • +6

        Or, reconstituted truffle.

      • +3

Oh yeah, Dominoes is going to use something that cost more than $1000/kg on your $10 Pizza. Yep.

    • +6

looks at username haters gonna hate!

    • +1

Probably truffle oil, which isn't actually truffle. But a synthetic chemical that tastes like truffle.

  • +8

Somebody noticed the "Best Before" date and pushed the big red button. lol

  • +1

it comes up as wagyu pizza, but I can't select them from the pizza choices. hmmm

    • same here how do I select the wagyu?

    • that means that the store you selected does not sell wagyu.

eg for stores near me, epping doesn't sell it but north ryde does.

edit: north ryde doesnt sell it anymore either :(

      • The store I tried previously sold Wagyu.

        Can anyone confirm any store?

        • epping, north ryde, west ryde, carlingford used to sell it. they no longer do. you can check manually by putting in each store and seeing if wagyu comes up. i have given up though. no one around my area sells it.

i feel like they only put out this deal because no one sells them anymore haha

    • Seems they are available blacktown and rooty hill.. With a poorer demographic means fewer prior purchases and more excess stock

  • +1

Lol. From $50 to $10 in a few months. The frozen beef must be nearing the expiry.

    • +4

The $50 was for both. So from $25 to $10.

    • +5

Can I claim 28 Degrees Shopper Protection? ;)

  • it seems not all stores sell them

  • order at rowville VIC, only to receive a phone call from the store there they don't have stock.

  • +1

OH MY GOODNESS!! i am sold to this tonight! Cancel all dinner appointments just for this! LOL!

  • +31

    My gf loves 3 ways

    • -1

      Can I join too?

    • +2

How do you feel about the extra dude?

    • Try adding extra Jalepenos for an extra dollar.. lets see if your gf will love it then.

    • +3

      Extra sausage is always great.

    • It can get a bit saucy in the bedroom.

      • She loves my extra cheese.
        I love the half half

        • It sucks when the cheese is spilt on her face as it ruins the experience.

  • It is great pizza, I do wonder if it is nearing the use by date and hence the deal. I do think it is a good bargain.

  • where do you find this vouchers? its not on the website..

    • Promo email from Dominos :)

      • +1

        Thanks for sharing!

  • I think it's a great tasting pizza, definitely worth a try at $9.95. I bought a couple for $25 on special a while back. The only fall back I can think of is that they put one single thin piece of wagyu per slice.

  • Bentleigh store VIC still have. So far no phone call yet. You can try!

  • I'll give it a miss again. ;)

  • Can't find any stock in South Eastern suburbs VIC well except for Bentleigh

  • +1

Don't see the WORLD CLASS WAGYU on the online menu anymore, out of stock?

    • That branch doesn't sell it.

  • expired…

    • +4

      The deal, or the beef?

  • +2

Not sure if Domino and Wagyu works well together….They might destroy Wagyu name as premium beef…

  • This is sooo good. Three way for only 9.95!!!

  • They seem to be $19.95 "normal price" now, so a $10 saving.

  • How big are these Wagyu pizzas? Smaller than Chef's Best?

    • +1

      Same size, I believe.

  • I looked up most the stores in SA, 3 came back. Glenunga, Malvern, and Newton said they had it.
Ordered at Newton and after a 20 min drive, I'm around the corner and I get a call telling me they're out of stock lol
    Call first.

  • mmmm… wagyu

  • For $10 its worth a try… I just had it.. approx 10 tiny cuts of beef on one pizza.. and the other had lots of sausages. If you buy both deal it comes in one box. As with tastes, meat is tasty. But off course WAGYU is best eaten by itself quickly seared medium-rare.

I wouldn't buy these pizzas for their normal retail of $20

    • +1

Yeh same thoughts here. Good quality cuts of beef should be seared on the outside while being lovely red n moist in the middle. What a waste if you overcook such a nice cut of meat.

    • That's the three-way with lots of sausages?

  • My local store had them, but I wouldn't trust my local domino's as far as I could throw them.

  • Thanks

  • Bought it from a store 15min drive away from my house since local Domino's doesnt has Wagyu.
Hands down the best pizza from Domino's. But I wouldn't have bought it without this coupon tho.

    • Even for $10, it's a bit pricey. Especially considering the little amount of wagyu they put on the pizza.

  • +2

Just bought the Three ways wagyuu pizza.
It was pretty much meatlovers with debatable slightly better taste?
I feel sick now after two slices, worst pizza and would avoid even if free! :(

  • +2

Just brought the wagyu and truffle pizza. Couldn't taste the truffle.

I also feel sick after one slice. I would probably try it again if it was $5

    • +2

lol nausea will never get in the way of a good bargain. +1

  • +1

Yeh never fall for an dominoes scam again. Taste pretty bad yo even for 10 bucks wouldn't buy again.

  • Newtown ran out of Wagyu

only other place has Wagyu is Bondi :/ FML

  • +2

I +1'd for the deal even though I haven't and won't try it. I would out of curiosity (especially at this price) but pizza is not currently on my diet regime :P

For anyone hatin' on Domino's - I've always enjoyed their pizzas. Only ever really order their Veggie pizzas though, which come covered in relatively fresh veggies, nice chunks, nice balanced taste (not overly salty). It's junk food but for junk food it's not bad, IMO. I boycotted Pizza Hut years ago after giving them countless 'one more chance's. Their veggie pizzas were awful in comparison, and their dough is a lot chewier and tastes cheaper.

Thin crust is also waaaaaay better at Domino's. Pizza Hut's thin crust is like leather.

Comparing Domino's to any other fast food pizza joint like Crust isn't really fair. One is gourmet, you pay higher prices for that fact, and they do predictably taste a lot fancier and unique.

For what it is, I reckon Domino's do alright. I do suspect that quality varies from store to store, though… so YMMV :P

    TL;DR - I really want some Domino's right now :(

    • +2

The Pizza Hut closest to me is far superior to the two Domino's are around me, I think it's very franchise dependent, the quality of the pizza. However I typically go Domino's since it's closer and more accessible (both of them)

  • +2

I had some from Maroubra, I didn't think it was that great. (I do like Wagyu beef)

I would've preferred just any other traditional/value pizza!

  • +1

    Horrible yuk gross

  • +1

I tried this yesterday. Wagyu 3 ways flavor, butchers block at eagle boys is still better.

The sliced meat on the bottom tasted off/fermented. Acquired taste I think. The sausages were not special but were ok. The chunks of beef were good but not special.

It had a sauce that tasted Mexican like refried beans which I like.it was extremly oily.

It was overall 4/10. It was OK not special. I wouldn't buy again. Its better than some of their other pizzas but not better than most.

    • "off/fermented" - Was it a false alarm or have you got the day off today?

      • Do you swallow food when you taste that is off?

I would rather spit it out early than be throwing up and squirting poo juice for days with food poisoning.

        • Well if I thought it was a acquired taste, I would still eat it, comforting myself in the knowledge that dominos corporate QA measures would not allow spoiled food to be served in their restaurants.
