Be nice if the mentioned the fricken brands of the wheel and tyre, very unprofessional.

Also notice the wheel in the image has the FPV logo on it but what they're actually selling is FPV "style" which could well mean el-cheapo imports which may not meet standards.

So little information for such a high price item.

    • +3

      Ford style means, cheapo shit.

1499 is an average if not high $$$$ for copy wheels.

Steer clear peeps, this is a shit deal

      • Some years ago I remember seeing a video of cheap import alloy wheels being tested, they were spinning them and suddenly stopped them and the entire centre of the wheel sheared out.

Granted this was an extreme test and probably not representative of typical use, but from what I recall they also tested a wheel which met the standard and it didn't break during the same test.

Have searched for the video but can't locate it

        • Not that uncommon of a story! Back in '09 when the DA's were very new FPV rims and replicas were scarce, there was a replica set sold through eBay (and I believe a shop in Melbourne) that didn't carry the appropriate load ratings for the type of car they were likely to end up on - high performance sedans and utes.

    • Given the photo showing an FPV logo and dunlop tyres this is very missleading.

      They're either:
      - Counterfeiting the logo and you get what's in the picture i.e. the product infringes on trademark.
      Or
      - The picture is of the real thing that they're giving you a cheap copy of, and this deal is false advertising.

Either way this is poor form.

I have changed the picture, the picture was for the reference what the actual wheel looks like..the deal is not false advertising..the wheels come with manufacturing warranty for 12 months

I'm going to safely assume this is the price for 3.

great for my FPV "Style" car

    • price is for a set of 4 installed on the car

Hmmm, as foobar says, it's hard to know the real value here without knowing the actual brand or rim and tyre you are getting for $1499 (and the typo doesn't help, either).

Real Dark Argents are worth plenty (a quick search of the bay or gumtree show several $1000-$1700 sales for second hand, unfitted genuine 19"-20" FPV-DA's, for example), but I've seen sets of 19"ers go for $700 second hand as well. And depending on the rubber you are getting with them, $1499 might be an ok deal. Dunno. Need more info, OP!

I have revised the advertisement with more info, plz lemme know what further info you require…i'll add further

Not even 6% discount, what a joke. Nowhere close to a bargain. Also you're still claiming these are Ford/FPV wheels which they aren't, neg to warn people about fake branding and shit discount.

    • I didn't claim they are ford/fpv wheels

      • +1

The picture shows an FPV badge, and you've written Ford in capital letters multiple times in title and description.

      • +2

The original picture of the genuine wheels was very missleading

        • +1

the picture has been changed. wheels come with fpv badge

        • So you're selling wheels with fake FPV badges but you're denying that you're representing them as FPV wheels?
