  can you confirm this is not a get rich quick scheme? like those seminars you go to where the speaker gets paid commision if you buy shares from them or something similar

  Great question – thank you for asking. We have gone to great lengths to select world class speakers who have a proven track record of helping people to create wealth (mostly through business). Please look at the expert panel line up and their bios for more information. Many (not all) of the speakers will have more in depth programs if you want to learn more. So if you get a lot of info and if want more in depth learnings, you can purchase a their programs. Is that fair enough?

  Even the most rudimentary search on google returns a litany of complaints about these get rich quick hucksters that are scheduled to speak at this event. Buyer beware.

  From the website:

  "I understand that this is a full 3 day program specifically designed for me to have an exact plan of how I am going to profit form the new economy by the end of the program, and agree to attend all days of the event. If I need to cancel and fail to give Global1 2 days notice in advance, I understand that I have taken away an opportunity for someone else to attend teh event, and I agree to donate $297 to Opporunity International at my own discretion."

  Thank you for your comments and questions. All of our speakers are experts in their fields. There is no obgligation to purchase from the event and it is a content -packed 3 days. They are our correct terms and conditions. We are supporting a charity called Opportunity International with this event, they provide micro financing to people in third world and under-developed nations. Basically we are going to give those who do not turn up the option to donate their ticket price to the charity, but there is no obligation to do this.
  This is no spam advertising, nor is it a get rick quick scheme. Also, the event is not catered. Thank you.

  Usually these scams involve a hard sell that is very hard for most people to walk away from. If you are very resistant you can walk away but it is always better to not go near them. If their financial advice is so wonderful why don't they take it themselves? If they are so altruistic that they really do not need the money then they can post their info on the web for free. Whether it is cheap land around Brisbane that goes under at high tide (1970's), time share in the 80's or wealth creation in the last few years it is their hands in your pockets.
