      They haven't yet figured out that $1 isn't enough…

    • hahahahahahhaha gold!

  • i have Norton pre installed on my win8 machine and now the 1 month free period has lapse, does anyone know whether i can get this and resume my licence?

    • Yes. dont see why you cannot.Did it with another antivirus.

  • did one recently, it says it takes 6-10 weeks for the cheque to be mailed.

  • Just went to DSE Parkmore and the salesperson was convinced the $20 cashback deal was finished. On the Norton site, however, it says it's up to March 31. My product says NIS 2013 AU on the bottom of the box. Do you guys run this is valid for the cashback?

    • Did you notice the version information is in the barcode panel on the bottom flap of your Norton product box as 20.0***** ?

Enter promo code 20back1113 and proceed as given in the following link
      http://au.norton.com/now/en/AU_SITE/pu/images/Promotions/201…

      • Thanks for the quick reply WNK. There doesn't seem to be a 20.0****** number, or any decimal number starting with 20. I do see some information just above the barcode that goes 2125**** NIS 2013 AU/NOBU 2.0 5GB AU, 1U 3LC SPECIAL RET BNDL

        • According to wiki Norton I Security 2013 is version 20.0 and it's also logocally correct if you compare the version codes in other year of NISs.

For claiming $20, I think you should install and activate the product first, and proceed with
          https://phoenix.symantec.com/SORC3/main/
with the promocode 20back1113 and then with the product key.

May be someone else also comment about this regard.

It works. I just did the claim.

  • FYI I received my $40 cheque from norton on Friday last week. This was for the $39 purchase of my 3 person license. I registered for the cash back on the 24 Jan 2014.

    Regards
    Daniel

    • Thanks for letting us know Daniel, was wondering if I needed to do a chase on mine.
