    Its a Class 4.

    • +10

      What, you expect a class 10 for $2.99? :)

      • +1

I did get a class 10 for $2.99 from CPL Online previously - I think few fellow OZB members also managed to grab this deal.

Similar deal was posted late last year although the price was suitable for local pickup only

Anyway - none the less, good deal OP. I managed to grab one from this deal too. :)

    Charging me for postage

    • Me too…

      • Me three…

        Ah… can only order one.

    • +1

I found in the summary part they deduct the postage, making it 2.99 again

    • Do you see the coupon bit at the right side of your cart?
      https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/3018117/8gbcard.PNG

      • Yeah that's weird how they do that… But I just completed an order and only $2.99 was charged.

  • Shame that you can only order one.

  • +1

It was listed on the cart but it also automatically deducted the same amount.

      • +3

        • Any better price on the 32gb plus series? Worth asking the question I guess ;)

        • haha… sorry not on the 32GB plus series. It is already much lower than all competitors atm :).

        • Thank you!!!!

  • sold out too quick, tried to order one and charged me for postage so i refreshed the page and no stock

  • -6

I don't mind items selling out - but posting a deal with VERY VERY limited stock with a clear intention to draw folks to this and then HOPE they'll buy a more expensive product when it's sold out is poor form…..and IMHO thats what's been done here as they didn't sell out 100+ units etc that fast.

    • +7

i see your point but it would only be true if the deal was posted by a rep. how is eug supposed to know there stock level? All they did was see a bargain, bought one and posted it for others to hopefully get one.

    • +2

It wasn't posted by the rep.

    • +5

      Hi Nikko,

We've put up 50 of them at the promotion price - eug probably shared this deal with everyone upon reading our newsletter so the neg is a bit unfair to him. You may consider subscribing on our newsletter deals too so as to take advantage of our deals that's not been posted on ozbargain yet.

      Kind Regards
      SE

It is potentially Bait Advertising (which is illegal) if you are not disclosing that stocks were limited.

        http://www.fairtrading.nsw.gov.au/ftw/Businesses/Advertising…

        • I don't have access to the newsletter, but the OzBargain post was not by SE.

However, if you are reading this SE: As a legal disclaimer, just say "While stocks last" on your newsletter/official advertising channel should be fine.

  • Not sure why posts telling everyone that its out of stock are being downvoted…

    conspiracy??

    • They're being downvoted because that's not a valid reason for a neg vote.

      • that's stupid.

so instead of helping everyone out and notifying that an item is out of stock, everyone wastes their time to find out for themselves.

also, where in the commenting rules does it state that 'out of stock' posts are illegal?

        https://www.ozbargain.com.au/wiki/help:commenting_guidelines

        • +1

also, where in the commenting rules does it state that 'out of stock' posts are illegal?

It isn't, but their neg needs to have a comment i.e. their reason to neg. The comment is not 'illegal', but their reason to neg was insufficient stock and hence should not have posted this 'deal', however the person who posted the deal is not the store rep, but an ozbargain member (how would they know about the stock levels?)

To notify an item is out of Stock there is a report button.
Nikko is accusing SE of bait advertising, he's not "notifying" other members that it's out of stock, that's what his neg is for, read his post again.
His neg is poor form (and representative of the Mob-with-pitchforks mentality on Ozbargain), not SE.

Negging for Out Of Stock is against voting guidelines (Inappropriate use of negative vote)

where in the commenting rules does it state that 'out of stock' posts are illegal?

          Inappropriate uses of negative vote

Any negative vote that falls into any of these reasons will be revoked by a moderator.

          Out of Stock.

          https://www.ozbargain.com.au/wiki/help:voting_guidelines

        • ok thanks.

so you can comment saying 'out of stock', but you cannot downvote because of it.

in other words, downvoting an 'out of stock' comment is just poor form, and not illegal.

        • in other words, downvoting an 'out of stock' comment is just poor form, and not illegal.

Negative voting a deal for "out of stock" is poor form. Commenting and reporting is good form.
Downvoting any comment is not illegal, poor form is subjective whether you agree to it or not. It's completely anonymous. P.s. if you were referring to downvoting your comment for "Out of Stock" (Just noticed yours), then yeah, it's not justified, looks like you got yourself some haters.

so you can comment saying 'out of stock', but you cannot downvote because of it.

You comment, then you click the report button, reason: out of stock. The power users (ozbargain addicts/super posters) and mods will be alerted and they'll check that it's really out of stock before they slap the tag on (if it was automatic tags, then someone could just mark every deal on OzBargain as OOS). You aren't supposed to Negative Vote a deal based on "Out of Stock".

  • I got one thanks OP

  • Looks to be still available?

  • Damn! Just bought the 32GB card for $29.99 the other day. I was waiting for a while but obviously not long enough! Good deal though

  • Hi OP,

You might want to consider editing your title/post so that:
    1. you can minimize people coming in for the "out of stock product" and leaving you some biased votes out of frustration.
    2. you may continue to keep the deal instead of expiring it, giving yourself more votes

    Kind regards
    SE

    • Good idea I guess!

    • Why is shipping so expensive?

      • it's free - the shipping will be waived once you've provided your postcode in the shopping cart or provided your shipping details at checkout.

        regards
        SE

  • +1

don't understand how it is ok to change the post after it received votes for the original deal which is not available anymore? isn't that misleading? the new "deal" does not deserve the votes it has now. the OP should have kept the deal as expired and maybe submit another post with the extra items still available.

  • REP - did you sell out of the 32gb $24.95 cards?

Can't find the "Add to Cart" button anymore….

    • Hi bennib01,

Yup - 32GB 24.95 cards have sold out

      Regards
      SE

      • Can you do any more microSD or SDHC 32GBs for that price?

        • Hi bennib0i,

we've run out of stock for that model - not sure our new cost for it yet.
Please consider other available options as all flash memory have gone up in cost and i don't think we can do similar price from our latest stock in the near future.

          Regards
          SE

  • Hi ShoppingExpress, I'm still waiting for a refund from ShoppingExpress that has been in process since 22/1/14. Would you be able to help sort it out?

    • Hi wiltonson,

You can PM me your ticket ID so i can have a quick look to see if there is any advise/help i can provide.

      Regards

  • Any chance we can get some of the SDHC cards with free shipping? Need one for a Raspberry Pi :)

    • on MicroSDs on today's promotion, will see if we can do something on the SDHC in upcoming promotions :).

I never get why people bother with these 'deals'
always cheaper (considering postage) on ebay.
    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Sandisk-32GB-Mobile-Ultra-UHS-I-c…

    • +1

Well most of the positive votes for this deal was for the $3 8gb samsung micro sd card. Considering the cheapest price on ebay is $7.39 (http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/100-GENUINE-SAMSUNG-8GB-micro-SD-…) that's why this is one of those 'deals' :)

    • I never get why people bother with these 'deals'
always cheaper (considering postage) on ebay.

That ebay link you posted is for a 32GB Class 10 card for $27.90, delivered.
This is for a 32GB Class 10 card for $24.95, delivered.

How is 27.90 cheaper than 24.95?

  • Would never buy from this company again. Their ebay store clearly states the microsd card I was buying is from new south wales Australia and when I asked them why I have not received the item after 2 weeks they then tell me it is coming from overseas. Over a month now and still have not received my microsd card. If you need your card soon then don't buy from SE. I just needed it quickly so was happy to pay a bit more for local stock.

    • +1

      Hi lo200,

We sell local stock, so you might have mistaken us with another company with similar name?

      Kind Regards
      SE

      • +1

Oops I did mistake you from shopping square aka apus. Wish I purchased from you instead.

    • +1

Are you sure you didn't get it from ShoppingSquare? They both are very similar in name.. Just saying

      • Smart choice. Last December on ShoppingSquare I found SanDisk Ultra 64GB microSDXC UHS-I U1 (class 10) at $49.95 +$3.95 postage (now even higher!). By then I took that deal to my local Keysborough (VIC) Officeworks for a price match, they sold to me at $47.50 (based on $50, beat by 5%). Consider this also included $4.32 GST, for business buyers you may claim it back.

    • I ordered this deal and it has been marked as dispatched already with an AustPost eParcel tracking number.
