  • Free delivery? Consider it sold….

    • +1. Deliver free and I'll buy immediately.

might want to mention price of the bucket and delivery.

    Bucket $39.95 (was $73.95). Delivery $12

not a bad deal. tempted but not sure. free shipping would put me over the edge

EDIT: $73.95 is misleading BS. Looks like RRP is actually $39.95.

    • Meccano Construction Bucket is $49 RRP + Meccano Mini Build and Play Box $24.95 RRP

Together they have an RRP of $73.95.

      • +2

Ah I see, thanks for clearing that up. So it is misleading BS.

  • +3

It's at Toys R Us for $39.99 - not on sale. I couldn't find any official RRP's from Mecaano. So with postage it appears the 100 piece construction bucket is the normal price and you get the build and play box for half price. Okay deal if you actually want both items but not as great a deal as it appears.

Another point is that it is dodgy to add both of your RRP prices together when the build and play is 'free'. It's spin to show extra value that is not there imo.

    • Agreed… in other words the OP is a scammer by intentionally misleading on the RRP.

      • +1

Not intentional, we based the value of the two together but we have lowered it to the single item RRP as you all suggest.
        Sorry for the confusion.

        • I'll give a + to the rep for that

  • The "free" bonus is plastic, not real Meccano sadly.

Is the bucket the proper French-made metal parts?

    • I am also interested in knowing whether it is plastic or metal.
