Accorhotels is having their 5th Anniversary of the Le Club loyalty program. Earn 5x points for staying in Accorhotels. Simply register for the offer, and book before 18 February for stays before 31 December 2014.
If you're a Platinum member, this will earn you 2.5x your usual Platinum earning rate.
Note that unlike an airline membership program, with Le Club the bonus points count towards your status qualification. So this will make it easier to retain your Platinum status.

Classic members get 4% x5= 20% return
Silver get 4% x5 +2= 22%
Gold get 4% x5 +3=23%
Platinum 4% x5+4=24%

And half the above at ibis
Nope, I think the extra points are not on top of the bonus points silver/gold/platinum members get. Basically regardless of the status you will earn the same 5x points with this offer.
Does this include booking over the phone if I provide my Le Club membership details?
Yes, it should. However if you obtained a Platinum status through a promo link you found through this forum (or a travel one), be careful. There have been many reports of people who obtained platinum status this way having their cards cancelled when making verbal contact with Accor customer service.
It may well be the case that you get just 5x points regardless of the membership level you have. Couldn't find any information clarifying this.

Yep, there's good reason why this "loyalty program" is the laughing stock of industry and consumers.
In September this year, they made changes which include free welcome drink and free wifi and platinum also get free access to club benefits . I also benefitted from their previous baggage promotion by receiving a samsonite firelite cabin bag just for staying 5 nights. I get 7% return in points by being a gold member so I prefer this to other loyalty programs.
Usually the earning rate is
Classic members get a 4% return
Silver members 6%
Gold members 7%
Platinum 8%
So 2.5x will get platinum members a 20% return.
