We've got a great deal on our newest bean which is grown on a small scale in the Kilimanjaro region of Tanzania. It's got all the lovely sweetness and smoothness that Tanzanian coffee is famous for and its versatility means its great black or white. With delicious fruity brightness that tempts the palate as a black coffee and enticing sweet tones that go wonderfully with milk based coffee, it suits everyone equally. For only $27.95 we'll send you 1kg including Australia wide shipping. For logistical certainty and to ensure ease of ordering, all orders will be roasted and dispatched from Monday 3rd Feb onwards.

In Tanzania, Nescafe costs more than local coffee at a restaurant, and when you taste it, you'll know why.
I hope the exported coffee is better.Wouldn't the Tanzania nescafe be like the reject shop asian ones? its differently worse quality then 43.
are these arabica?
Hi Salem they certainly are :)
Please see my post in relation to the paypal dispute. Thanks
Hi rep, I ordered last Friday and haven't received my order yet. How long does shipping take?
All ok - mine has arrived.
Thanks rep
Deal is still on or on again. Just ordered another kg.
Thanks rep.Hi, I will try this before I lodge a paypal dispute. I have sent safari roast several messages, posted in the forums but no response.
I HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY COFFEE WHICH I HAVE PAID FOR. WOULD YOU LIKE TO RESOLVE THIS ISSUE?
I bought and paid for the coffee beans 24 jan (almost one month ago). Still no coffee beans.
If I have not heard from safari roast by the end of the day then I will lodge a paypal dispute.
Email [email protected] if you haven't already. I've ordered a couple of times before and it's arrived in 6 or 7 days.
Ok, I will send them an email as well. Strange that they sell their coffee using ozbargain but do not check if customers are happy or have received the coffee.
21 days - that's too long….
Please post the outcome here, good or bad.
Hi, I will do that.
Very poor customer service.
Paypal dispute initiated.
Hi All,
My name's Larry and I'm the founder/head roaster of Safari Roast.
As I can see from above, there are a lot of comments, most people whom I have
already contacted, or am in the process of contacting regarding the
situation that occurred and the totally unacceptable delays and/or
customers not receiving their order at all. The following from an
email I sent to a very gracious and valuable customer probably best
explains what has happened: 'Regarding the issues others have faced,
the situation is as follows. I, as the
head roaster, started Safari Roast as a business to provide
people with some fantastic coffee from some less common origins.
As part of this I had enlisted another business to take care of
the logistical side of things which included amongst other
things order admin, order tracking etc to enable me to
concentrate on the cupping of coffee and roasting it as well as
possible. This arrangement was satisfactory to begin with
however it seems that towards the end of last year, around the
Christmas period the standard of service that was being
delivered from this business regarding dispatching orders etc
began to slip at a rather rapid rate. This has meant that over
the past 4-6 weeks, there have been a number of unacceptable
customer service issues. As a result, I've now myself taken
complete control of the whole business process from roasting
right through to confirmed lodgement of orders. As I started
this business with a lot of passion and genuine love of coffee,
I was extremely disappointed with what has transpired and am
absolutely determined to do everything possible to bring the
integrity back to this brand that it deserves. All ties with
this business have been severed and we look forward to providing
the best possible coffee once again in 2014.'
To say I was upset is an understatement and I am extremely understanding
of all frustrations and anger felt by customers as I know that if
I were in that position I would feel exactly the same way.
Lesson learnt in the hardest way here is to always keep all
operations in house and to control everything as much as possible.
As I wrote above, I personally started this business out of the
love of coffee and am fuming that integrity and trust has been
removed from this brand and I will be working as hard as humanly
possible to restore this. Any questions or comments at all can be sent
to [email protected] and I will personally reply asap. Thank you.
