Logitech Alert 750n Indoor Master System with Night Vision $349 (Save $100.95)

32

"A complete video security system in a box. Logitech Alert 750n Indoor Master System comes with everything you need to help protect what’s important to you: a smart camera with wide-angle night vision, powerful Windows and Mac software and a free remote viewing account."

Found this discount while looking for good indoor security camera to put on my window and face outside with night-vision. Until I realised that the IR light will actually create a mirror effect from to the glass during night recording (unless I switch the IR light off). So now I need to look for a good outdoor one instead :P

  • I see them on Ebay Australia for $249 with free postage. I "think" it's the same model/version.

That is probably for the add on camera, this one is the master system which includes the software etc…good price though. i imported this from the US for the same price in USD so this is a great price.

      • Thanks! I wasn't sure and appreciate the clarification.
However, I do see the "complete" for $325 with free postage.

        • Yup that seller, shallothead, has the master system listed for $325 and the add-opns for $249.

However, he does not have stock. I bought a master system and add-on camera a week and a half ago and did not hear anything till Friday when I contacted them - he said there was no stock, yet the listing is still up. Terrible seller - the listing says there's more than 10 available, and there was no contact until i contacted them a week later!

Shopping Express listed it recently too though, so I ended up ordering from them. They have the master system for $295.95!

p.s. the master system simply comes with one additional homeplug adaptor that plugs into your router. You can download the software from the logitech website.

Not sure how this protects everything which is important to me (ie. OzBargain)

  • not that it really matters now but this was 245 yesterday on logitech.com (rip off site)

  • I got the outdoor version for $175 from logitechshop last year. It does the job adequately, but I would not pay $349 for it.

    • thats the non night vision one. This is the upgraded model. But if you have flood lights no real need to get this one.

I believe the outdoor models are night vision anyway. We have the outdoor models indoors and they have night vision.

  • http://www.logitechshop.com.au/logitech-alerttm-750i-master-… non night vision version is $175 here!

Is the night vision worth the extra $174????

The average thief would strike on his unaware victim/s at night.

  • Bought the add on camera http://www.logitech.com/en-au/product/alert-700n-add-on-came… yesterday with 30% off (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/131699) for 175 as I already have the master system. The master system definitely not worth another 175. 200 would be a more realistic bargain price for this considering logitechshop sells the non night vision model with master system for 175. I'm not negging you here, rather logitech's overpriced products

  • dont buy master system version, they are a scam, just run eithernet and get a POE switch

    • a big selling point of these cameras is that you don't have to run ethernet cables as they come with homeplug PoE adaptors.
