newsXpress Stores to Offer Free Resume Copying

190

A bit of a different offer from the newsXpress Blog:

"newsXpress newsagencies are set to offer free photocopying of resumes to people looking for work. As part of the group’s 2009 Stock Take Sale, the free copying service will be available in all newsXpress locations from next month.

We are grateful to be able to help people looking for work commented Ben Kay, General Manager of newsXpress. We are also proud to show our group of proactive newsagents as leading on this important social challenge.

newsXpress will be promoting the free resume copying opportunity in a national advertising campaign which will commence in two weeks. This will be supported by bold, professionally printed, in-store marketing collateral."

It would be interesting to see what limits apply on the number of copies that can be made.

  • While I don't know how many people will take advantage of this, it sounds ok! +1

  • Certainly worth a +ve from me.

  • Great idea. When the person who used the newsagency does get a job, they will hopefully remember where they got their photocopying done when they are looking to buy stationery/magazines/cards.

And most people will get photocopying of a resume done at their local newsagent.

  • What does the asterix next to "FREE* Resume Printing" mean?

  • +1

Presumably we'll just have to "Watch for more on this story".
This OB posting has itself featured on the NXP blog site
But be careful,, this could possibly initiate a web-loop that could become self-perpetuating and perhaps even BREAK THE INTERNET!!! - you know,, like "what ever you do, don't google Google".

    Live Long and Prosper,
