  50inch and not full HD??? I honestly didn't know they still existed lol. Not trying to be facetious, but I seriously can't tell if this is a good deal or not…

    i used to have a 720p 50" plasma before my current 55" led, quality difference is barely noticeable at my 3M viewing distance.

    that being said….. 50" 720P 300W no name plasma for $400+post? hardly a noteworthy deal.

      I can, I try to make sure I am watching 1080 if it's anything I care about. Having said that after a lifetime of standard def free to air, 720 still looks good to me. My mum definitely wouldn't now tge difference, until the electricity bill came at least

  50-inch plasma for $400-ish is great, even if 720p. Still happy with my two 26-inch crt widescreens, so the day comes and I bite the bullet there's no way I can lose.
