lol, I just bought one, thinking about putting it on here. Bought in a Vic store, so it should be nation wide.

  • Is this good for crumpets and bagels?

    • You just beat me to it.
Ordered. $9 postage in Syd metro.
      Thanks OP.

  • I don't know what's the better brand but I bought the Russell Hobbs 4 slice for the same price. They had a lot more stock of the Ronson ones though

    • Can confirm this, bought the Russell Hobbs 4 slice on Friday for 39 bucks, similar to the one in the OP, all stainless steel etc.

      • I even managed to get the Russell Hobbs for $30 :)

Ronson is a pretty average brand though.

I had this toaster, only lasted 12 months and the plastic handles snapped off. Very average toaster imho

    • But how did it actually toast? Was it even? This is main selling point for me…

    • Most toasters I've had have only lasted about that long.

Pretty sure Ronson IS a "basic/no name" brand!

not a bad price either way

  • Wasn't Ronson the guy found dying at the beginning of Skyfall?

If I get this, I'd just be tempted to walk into the kitchen each morning in my Bonds, hope that my Ronson toaster isn't dying, play some Adele and take orders from an M&M. Might also conveniently slip back into bed and show up late for work; unshaven and half drunk… but will blame it on a piece of shrapnel I've left unremoved.

Have been using this model for over 12 months - find is does a very even toast - also works well with thicker breads. Gets a very good workout with a young family - would replace with the same model when we finally kill it.
