The iRobot Braava 320 and 380t models (previously know as Evolution Robots Mint 4200 and Mint Plus 5200) currently have 10% discount at Amazon.

Shipping rates to WA came in at ~$40 for the 380t, and ~70 for the 320 (go figure, wouldn't have thought they should be too different, nice gouge Amazon)

Main link is for the 380t, link to 320 below (though for ~$60 difference after shipping 380t is probably the way to go)

I believe they come with a 100-240V charger, so just require a plug adaptor.

EDIT: Discount is applied in shopping cart. Once added to cart, it will show a discount of $20/$30 in your cart.

  • Are you 100% that it comes with a 100/240v charger? If it does, I might consider purchasing it.

    • I can't say 100%, when they were owned by Evolution I found mention of them being 100-240V, and on http://www.robotshop.com/en/irobot-braava-380t-automatic-flo… it states:
"Note: Customers outside of North America will need to supply a plug adapter. Braava is compatible with input voltages of 100V-240V."

As far as I can tell, the PS is a wallwart type, so replacing the whole thing should it be 110v only shouldn't be too big a deal. I took a punt anyway, guess I'll find out soon.

  • Not that price now, but Scooba is $305

    • Have updated post, but discount is applied to shopping cart. Just checked and discounts still valid.

    • Do you have link for Scooba?
      It's come up as $499

  • I think this unit is 110/220 voltage?

  • +3

Brought one of this amazing machine before Christmas.
Only took 4 days to ship to Sydney.
I can confirm that the charger is 100v-240v.
All you need is a AU adaptor

    • How did you buy one that ships to Aus?
I tried to buy one of these before and it doesn't let me ship to Aus.

      • Generally only the products stocked and sold by Amazon themselves (the Prime logo is usually a good indicator) can be shipped to Aus (at a reasonable shipping cost anyway) but as we've seen with the Neato lately even that's not a guarantee. It's a bit hit and miss.

    • Thanks. How much did you pay for it?

    • Who was the carrier? Previously anything I've ordered from Amazon has been sent via iParcel and received within a week, but this time they have used DHL Global Mail so I don't think it's going to be as fast.

  • Reading the reviews, they say that the iRobot Scooba is better?

    • Two different methods of cleaning I think. The Mint just uses pads to wipe the floor, the Scooba actually puts water down, brushes it and sucks it up.

For me though, I think on hardwood floors the Mint will do a good job without water dripping in between the planks. I think for tiles the Scooba will definitely be better as it is going to scrub the grout as well.

      • Thanks. I have laminated flooring so the Mint works out better value…
The Scooba may leave excess water behind…

  • I think this deal has expired.
The $20-$30 discount doesn't apply on checkout anymore :-(

    • Yep, seems you're right.
