My flatmate is moving out and she's taking a few of her things with her so I've been out on the market for some household items recently. I've been after a Dyson vacuum cleaner for a while now after I've used it at my parents place and was very impressed with it. This seems to be pretty decent price as a quick search on the competitor's websites show the price for the same item to be quite a bit more. If you're a savvy OzBargainer, you could always get the competitors to price match.
JB Hi-Fi Home @ $579

In case there are no TGG stores nearby, the website seems to offer some very reasonable shipping options as well. To where I am located in metro Melbourne (postcode 3150 the door to door delivery option shows as $2 or the premium delivery at $49.
Perhaps my price search abilities aren't as good but I cannot seem to be able to find a cheaper price for a local stock. I think I may be making a trip down to my local TGG tomorrow for a new vacuum. Wonder if I can get a further discount with cash…otherwise I may have to ask them to split the payment in 5 to use my ING paywave :p
EDIT:
I've just returned from Masters and managed to get it price beat 10% which brought it down to $394.20!
For some reason TGG in store price was actually higher than the online price :S
looking for a dyson as well…
