Maybe you bought the Nikon V1 on sale now at David Jones? This is a sharp lens for it. It works on the Nikon 1 mirrorless system, such as Nikon J series and Nikon V series cameras.

This 30-110mm lens offers a 81-297mm equivalent field of view.

  jb hifi is selling them at $197. The Boxing day sale will be 10 percent off all nikon lenses which will bring that down to $177. If you don't mind white that is. working out fees and exchange rate fluctuations the price is same here for Aussie stock.

    My quoted price adds a few dollars for exchange rate thievery, so it shouldn't be much more than what I quoted (I think), but that is good regardless.
