I saw this great $1 breakfast deal on ibisworldsquare.com.au after watching the Sunrise show last Sunday morning. Ibis World Square were giving away $89 per night for the first 200 callers, i've managed to book myself in and paid only an extra $1 to enjoy a full buffet breakfast. It's ok if you've missed the Sunrise show, they are offering $99 rate as well till 31st July 2009.
great get breakfast for $1 .. but first pay $89 for a room !!
well at least you could get a buffet breakfast for $1, where else can you get it from? it's good for those who are planning to looking to stay in hotel for the next few weeks.
should change the title to get $1 buffet if you book a room for $89

There are hundreds of pretend specials like these, it just means the hotel price is higher then it should be to compensate for the cheap breakfast.
The cheapest $1 breakfast deal I found was $111 per night. Last minute booking is cheaper than booking in advance. Most nights are priced between $131 - $171.
Check Sydney Mercure, you get more value, $129 - $149 per night including free breakfast.
$1 Breakfast is a bit of a misleading title don't ya think?
