  Certainly is a work of art. Handcrafted no less! I am in awe of the gentle curved corners and the delightful excavation in which to place the knife. The hours and effort to achieve such perfection - I weep. The final touch is the beautiful map, why would I travel to France when I can enjoy all things French by just looking at a handcrafted image? Quick search of the net indicates this is a low price for this item. My search was not exhaustive though.

  list price $119.95?! what are you paying for, a map? a wooden chopping block? maybe the fancy cheese knife with gold inlay?

  also, Take a journey around France which will delight your taste buds what does this mean? if this came with a sample selection of French cheeses then yes, my taste buds will take a journey around France!

    No Sir, cheese does not come with this cheese board. You will need to get it from your local deli, arrange it on Laguiole cheese board, cut it with a beautiful Laguiole cheese knife and just imagine… you are in France…. Ahh…
