This isn't an advertised 'bargain' but it worked well for for my wife and I.

Seems like a good price over the peak period and booking at such late notice.

We got return tickets from Sydney to Bali departing on the 28th dec 2013 and returning on the 6th January 2014 for $377 each way, then there's the webjet fees which brought the tickets to just under $800 each.

Ticket includes 25kg of carry on luggage which is good too.

I'm not sure how many are available, but I thought it might be a good opportunity to 'give back'.

    Did that include all costs?.

    Why book through Webjet why not direct with airline?

      But that's with a non direct flight going to DPS (24-26hrs travel time)

        Yeah, its not great. However, I think it is the same duration as the flights on Webjet that the OP is talking about.

        On webjet:
        Syd ->DPS, Depart 6:10 PM arrive 12:35 PM, duration 21:25 hrs for $393 (one way). The return flight is only 6 hours & another $393.

        The 6.25 hour direct flight SYD->DPS is $621 one-way.

      You have no idea, I go to the Virgin website and check out the 8th of January going over and get $335 with 3 seats left. Direct Sydney to Denpasar

      You pick one day and sure you may find the prices higher, but if you are flexible with the dates you get a better price.

      Supply and demand… If it's posted here it will go quickly…

    Surely you mean "check-in baggage"?
    LOL, imagine everyone trying to lug 25kgs on board and place it all in the overheads.

    Just looking at that link, it seems to take 24 hours or so to get there.

    Hi yeah check in sorry. And the flights seemed to be more expensive on the virgin website for some reason. Seemed like a good price for peak season. Sorry if it's not!
